Tell it you despise Szass Tam (A legendary lich and leader of Red Wizard of Thay), the Balsam can be used for cleaning wounds, and you look for whatever spell will rid me of this worm in my head' or 'I'd see my enemies suffering. To open this mirror, you need to make it believe you are an ally of its master. There is also a Dark Journal that tells you more about the owner of this place. (There's a scroll to summon Quasit, it will tell you more info about the place.) Alternatively, use ranged weapons to attack the casket so you only need to deal one enemy at a time. There are some undead hidden in the moldering caskets so be prepared, you can use the cleric's skill to destroy them. Move the chests, then pull it to reveal the hidden passage behind the bookshelf. Inside the doctor's basement, there is a hidden lever behind three chests. With these items in hand, you can now make your way to the cellar. Head northwest to (X:-557, Y:-357) to find a Dark Amethyst on the ground. Either defeat her and the rest of the spiders in the cave to get through, or stealth your way down the vines. Be careful reaching these vines as there's a Phase Spider Matriarch nearby. At (X-539, Y:-364), you'll find some vines going down. Head down the southwest path and climb up the Cragged Rock to your right. Before leaving for the cellar mentioned in the journal, you'll want to grab one more item here in the Whispering Depths. The Whispering Depths can be reached through the Well or through a hole in the floor at the Blacksmith's House in the Blighted Village. You can find this journal on a Skeleton in the Whispering Depths at (X:-493, Y:-367). Search the Cellar can be started by reading the Apprentice's Journal.
